Biography

Alice de Moraes Amorim Vogas is a lawyer and climate politics specialist. She is the Partnerships and Communications Director at iCS - Institute Climate and Society, in Brazil and F-20 Chairwoman. Prior to this role, she coordinated the Philanthropy for Climate movement at WINGS and was Board Chair of the think Tank E+ Energy Transition. She is a Humboldt Chancellor Fellow and spent 18 months in Germany working with the MdB Lisa Badum (Green Party) at the German Parliament, undertaking comparative research about the relationship between climate NGOs in Germany and Brazil with the legislative powers. Alice worked as Climate Policy and Outreach Portfolio Coordinator at iCS, and as climate & development manager at GiP - Public Interest Management. She started her career as in-house Lawyer at Icatu Holding S/A. She holds a B.A. in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and an MSc in Political Economy of Late Development from LSE - London School of Economics.
