Biography

Franc Kamugyisha, Founder/CEO, Ecoplastile & Wastepays, a Commonwealth Young Person of the Year 2022 & Advisory Committee Member, Commonwealth Year of Youth 2023/2024 and Advisory Board Member, HSC. Franc is won the Climate Award by MassChallenge & Ressolve, USA, Climate Award Winner- The King Hamad Youth Empowerment Award to Achieve SDGs 2020, Next Innovation with Japan Challenge (NINJA) 2021, Multi-City Challenge Africa- by UNDP, TEF Awards 2019, SEED Low Carbon Awards 2019, Climate Launchpad Uganda 2019. Franc is a Fellow; of the Young Founders Program, Berlin 2020, Halcyon Incubator Fellowship, Washington DC 2020, Rally Fellowship, Orlando, Circular Economy Accelerator, by Circular Valley, Wuppertal, Germany, AUDI Scholar and a One Young World Ambassador, London UK.
