Peter Renner

Biography

Peter Renner is a political scientist specializing in international politics. He has held management positions in various non-governmental organizations for 20 years. He has been active in technical assistance, economic cooperation, and development cooperation for almost 30 years and has extensive experience abroad. His assignments have taken him to Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Transcaucasia, and Africa. Most recently, he worked as a board member of a foundation for development cooperation with 650 employees. He is very familiar with the challenges of project work in the field of development cooperation and climate policy - in particular, nature-based solutions. Peter Renner has been Chairman of the Board of the Alliance for Development and Climate Foundation since 2020.
