Rushika Pattni

Biography

Rushika J. Pattni is a principle-driven leader with over 8 years of experience in healthcare, financial services, and technology - gained while working in India, Mauritius, Rwanda, Kenya and China before going back to her motherland Tanzania. With a double B.A. in Economics and Public Health from Yale University and an EMBA from Hult Business School in Dubai in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. At just 30, she is the founder of Recroot Africa, an HRTech startup that connects companies to vetted talent on-demand. Her work applies human-centered design principles and behavioral science to help companies pivot hire and place good talent as they expand into Africa. She has grown in her leadership skills at a young age in her career. From being one of the youngest professors at African Leadership University in Rwanda at 23, to joining C-Suite ranks at Selcom Tanzania under 30, her spirit is driven by entrepreneurship. Her impressive tech experience includes her work with Salesforce Foundation, Mastercard, and African Leadership Group, before founding her own company. She strives to develop more leaders through her work who can be positive influencers of change in tech.
