Biography
Azadeh Montazer Haghighi is the Founder & CEO of youturn, a DeepTech startup pioneering Engineered Nature Infrastructure. Trained as an architect, she moved into real estate development, where she held senior roles leading complex real estate and urban development projects from concept and planning agreements to implementation, while also serving as a juror in major architectural competitions. During her years in project development, she realized that our buildings and urban infrastructure were designed for a climate that no longer exists, while nature was still treated as an afterthought rather than as infrastructure and the integration of large-scale nature into projects remained a highly specialized and difficult-to-scale process. This insight led her to found youturn.
