Biography
Carole Nassreddine is a Master’s student in Chemical Engineering at the American University of Beirut, passionate about renewable energy, circular economy, and sustainable development. She served as a youth ambassador at HSC2025 and participated in the TechWomen program, a leadership and mentorship initiative funded by the U.S. Department of State, advocating for women’s empowerment in STEM. Carole brings extensive experience in climate advocacy and youth engagement, contributing to research and policy initiatives at UN-ESCWA, UNICEF, and UNDP Lebanon. She is actively involved in projects on waste-to-energy, green skills development, and environmental policy, working to bridge research, community action, and policy to advance a just and sustainable transition in Lebanon and the MENA region.
