Céline Carré

Biography

Céline Carré is a passionate public affairs professional based in Brussels, Belgium. She is in charge of public affairs with Saint-Gobain, global leader in sustainable and light construction, where she focuses on European policies. In her role, Céline designs and deploys the Group’s advocacy strategy towards EU institutions and leads the corporate network of advocacy correspondents. Her expertise covers policies linked to the energy and climate transition in buildings, including energy efficiency, decarbonisation, circularity, resilience and industrial policies. Céline takes an active role in various associations at European level, such as Eurima, Eurogypsum, Glass for Europe and the World Green Building Council’s European Regional Network. She is the President of Efficient Buildings Europe, the voice of building technologies for energy efficiency. Prior to joining Saint-Gobain in 2011, Céline worked with Logos Public Affairs, where she led the environment and energy practice for corporate clients and associations, and was trained in consensus buildings methodologies. Céline graduated from Science Po Paris in 1998 and pursued the Franco-German Diploma in Political Sciences between Science Po and Freie Universität Berlin. She also holds a Master’s Degree in European Studies from Bath University (UK). Céline is French, speaks English, German and Spanish.
