Chiara-Felicitas Otto founded exficon GmbH 15 years ago. The financial advisory firm is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and is specialized in structuring and arranging tailor-made financing solutions for complex export and / or project financing transactions in developing and transitional countries with a regional focus on Africa (sectors: infrstructure and energy). With a team of 15, the firm actively covers more than 30 African countries and about 50 additional countries worldwide. exficon is also active as a tender manager for development banks and international financing institutions, for public authorities (e.g. public procurement authorities) and private corporations and operates its own tendering platform (exfitender) which is successfully used in some 100 countries worldwide. exficon has developed into one of the leading providers in this nice and aims at expanding its presence on the African continent.
