Biography
Chris Pain has almost 30 years’ experience working in international development cooperation. He is currently based in the Policy Unit of the Development Cooperation and Africa Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland. In this role, he leads on Ireland’s policy priority of reaching the furthest behind first, and Ireland’s engagement with the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) at the OECD. He is closely involved in discussions around the future of development, and financing for development.
