Christian Hübner

Biography

Christian Hübner is an economist and policy advisor. At the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), he leads the Global Resources and Sustainability department within the Analysis and Consulting Division. In his leadership role, he oversees the strategic portfolio on natural resources, raw materials, and geostrategic technologies, advancing a sustainable economy and connecting global dynamics to key policy areas such as energy, climate, global health, development, agriculture, and mobility. With expertise in markets, regulatory frameworks, and the global geopolitical landscape, he provides strategic insights and policy advice to Member of Parliament’s, governments, international organizations, and other stakeholders. His international perspective builds on his leadership of KAS regional programmes on energy security and climate change in Latin America and the Asia-Pacific.
