Biography

Clayticia L. Daniel is a climate policy researcher and practitioner specialising in Small Island Developing States. She serves as Project Officer at St. Kitts and Nevis's Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency Empowerment, Alternate National Focal Point for Adaptation, and National Focal Point for Gender Focal Point (ACE NCCFP). In 2025, she negotiated on behalf of St. Kitts and Nevis at COP30. Her doctoral research at the University of the West Indies examines gender equality and social sustainability in the Caribbean, directly informing her ministry's climate policy, resilience programming, and institutional governance work.
