Heald Andrew

Biography

Andrew is based in Edinburgh, Scotland and has over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of sustainable forestry and plantation management. He is the co-founder and Chair of the iNovaland group of companies, which is delivering large scale forest landscape restoration projects in Ghana and Brazil. He has worked for leading international forest product companies including UPM and Mondi, and for major NGOs such as WWF International and FSC International. Andrew is also Chair of the Art of Forests, a global community of practice, made up of land stewarding individuals and organisations, all dedicated to protecting and restoring the natural environment using nature-based solutions — reforestation, afforestation, ecosystem restoration and conservation. Andrew is a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters and has worked at a senior level in UK, Ghana, Uruguay, and Uganda.
