Biography
Ignacio F. Lara holds a PhD in Politics and Institutions (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, Italy). He serves as the coordinator of Environmental Democracy and the Global South at Asuntos del Sur, a think tank based in Argentina. He has a proven track record of leading projects and global communities of practice focused on critical environmental governance issues and the intersection of climate and democracy. His research is centered on energy transitions and environmental democracy in Latin America, as well as regional and global governance mechanisms to address these issues. He is a visiting professor at ASERI (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, Italy).
