Biography
Jon Bellish is Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Shuraako Capital, a $34 million private investment platform supporting more than 125 companies across the Horn of Africa. He oversees institutional strategy, governance, and capital allocation for the fund, which operates in partnership with several Nordic development finance institutions and private impact investors. He also serves as Board Chairman and Independent Trustee of the Cashmere Fund, an $18 million regulated Delaware statutory trust, and as a board member of Fundación Paz Sostenible in Bogotá, Colombia. Jon holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and an M.B.A. from Millsaps College. He speaks fluent Spanish.
