Kirsten Orschulok

Biography

Ms Kirsten Orschulok is head of the Greener Reefers project, funded by the German International Climate Initiative (IKI), at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GmbH). The project aims to develop a highly energy efficient refrigerated maritime containers that use natural refrigerants and blowing agents with ultra-low climate impact (GWP below 1) and without F-gases and PFAS. Kirsten worked before in projects transforming the transport sector in Asian countries for more climate-friendly solutions and focusing on data analysis. From 2018-2021 she worked in Thailand supporting the implementation of climate strategies for emission mitigation and could bring in her strong academic background in policies and international negotiations.
