Biography
Matthew Bach is Regional Director for Europe at ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, a global network of local and regional governments advancing sustainable urban development. He leads ICLEI's policy and advocacy work across Europe with a particular focus on multilevel governance and financing for sustainable urban development. He represents the network in intergovernmental processes including the G7/Urban7 engagement group and policy forums on topics including climate and biodiversity. He is based in Freiburg and works in English, French, and German.
