Biography
Melanie Vogelbach is Managing Director for International Economic Policy and Foreign Trade Law at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). She joined DIHK in 2014, and has since held various key positions. Before assuming her current role in 2019, she served as CEO of Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland, Germany’s largest network of young entrepreneurs. She studied International Relations in Dresden and Valparaíso, and holds a graduate degree from New York University. Besides representing Germany’s diverse private sector, her professional background includes positions at the German Federal Foreign Office, international organizations, and civil society institutions.
