Sarah Abdelatif

Biography

Sarah Abdelatif is the Co-Founder and CEO of Propel, a collective intelligence platform helping development and humanitarian organisations turn fragmented experience and evidence into shared knowledge for better decision-making. Her work focuses on how organisations can capture lessons as projects and partnerships unfold, connect knowledge across teams and countries, and use responsible AI to support more coordinated and adaptive action. Alongside her work at Propel, Sarah is conducting PhD research at Radboud University Nijmegen on organisational learning in international development cooperation, with a particular focus on power, politics, and the future of knowledge practices in the sector. Her work explores how institutions can move beyond siloed information systems and build more collaborative, inclusive, and actionable approaches to learning. Sarah has worked with NGOs, foundations, multilateral organisations, and government actors on learning, knowledge management, and adaptive programming in complex contexts. She is particularly interested in how collective intelligence and responsible technology can strengthen multilateral cooperation and support progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
