Biography

Urmi A Goswami is a senior journalist with The Economic Times Urmi writes on environment, climate change, sustainable development, and the transition to a net-zero economy. Besides writing on domestic developments in the environment and the transition to a low-carbon economy, she has attended and reported on international negotiations on climate and environment since 2009. A member of the newspaper's edit team and focus on environment and climate change, foreign policy and international diplomacy, health, education, energy and transition toa low carbon economy.. I regularly participates in discussions on climate change, environment and sustainability on Indian and foreign radio and television, speaking at panels and moderating discussions. I have written a book for children "Pollution Solutions: For a Cleaner Greener Earth" (Teri Press, 2022) and am a contributing author to Beat Reporting and Editing: Journalism in the Digital Age.
