Biography

Xenia zu Hohenlohe is an international sustainability strategist, entrepreneur, and nature advocate with over two decades of cross-sector leadership at the intersection of climate policy, regenerative business, and ocean and forest conservation. Currently serving as TFFF Special Envoy through the World Bank, Xenia leads global advocacy for the Tropical Forest Forever Facility — a blended-finance mechanism designed to protect the world's remaining tropical forests at scale. She convenes investors, philanthropists, and policymakers at forums including the World Economic Forum in Davos and the Munich Security Conference. From 2023 to 2025, Xenia served as Chief Country Officer at the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), co-chairing the Hospitality & Tourism Task Force and orchestrating the COP28 Business & Philanthropy Forum for 1,400 global CEOs. Earlier, she co-founded Considerate Group, a B Corp-certified ESG consultancy, and the Langenburg Forum on Sustainability, which convened world leaders including HM King Charles, Secretary Madeleine Albright, and Kofi Annan. A committed advocate for nature-positive economies, Xenia brings rare expertise in translating complex biodiversity and climate goals into actionable strategies — building the cross-sector coalitions, through unique diplomatic skills couple with a fluency in five languages, needed to deliver them.
