Young Leaders Shaping the Global Sustainability Agenda

At the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC), we are committed to a just and inclusive transition toward a sustainable future – one shaped collaboratively with those who will be most impacted by it.

Through the HSC Youth Ambassador Program, young leaders are an integral part of the conference, taking an active role in panels, moderations, workshops, and high-level dialogues with decision-makers, experts, and leaders from across sectors. By sharing their expertise, perspectives, and initiatives, they co-create conversations and solutions that advance sustainable development.

Building Connections for Collective Action

Across the Global South young leaders are driving innovative solutions and creating impact within their communities. Yet their perspectives, expertise, and lived experiences remain significantly underrepresented in international policy and sustainability dialogues.
The HSC Youth Ambassador Program creates a platform for young leaders to connect with decision-makers, experts, and one another.

Beyond their participation at the conference, Youth Ambassadors build lasting networks, exchange knowledge and experiences, and support each other’s growth as part of a global community working toward sustainable development.

“Hamburg Sustainability Conference gave me a hope for a more equal future for all despite our backgrounds and social status. For the first time ever youth were co-creators and not just spectators on the high-level interactions. Using this momentum, we are going to bring changes to our communities around the Global South and beyond”.
