Antje is founding partner of BAUMANN Resolving Disputes, a boutique law firm based in Hamburg, Germany. She regularly acts as an arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings and is praised (e.g. by WWL) as “one of the best arbitrators in the country”, with one peer adding, “she excels in large-scale disputes” and receives plaudits for her work on high-profile cases. Antje holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and is admitted to the German and New York Bar. She is honorary professor at the University of Osnabruck where she teaches negotiations and mediations skills as well as international arbitration. She is a frequent speaker and regularly publishes on international arbitration (e.g. Co-editor of the Practitioner’s Handbook on International Commercial Arbitration published by Oxford University Press, and author of the commentary on the ICC Rules). Finally, she is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris.
