Biography
Carolina Pasquali joined Greenpeace Brazil as its Executive Director in 2021, after many years working in other civil society organizations with a focus on nature and climate change and its intersection with human rights - especially children's rights. At Greenpeace, Carolina is leading the work towards COP30 - in the heart of the Amazon - and sees it as a key moment to change the conversation around climate and nature and to accelerate a just transition towards a future that respects indigenous peoples and local communities and values our ancestral knowledge and a standing forest.
