Currently leading initiatives at the UNDP Accelerator Lab in Colombia, he is part of a pioneering global network operating across 115 countries that identifies breakthrough solutions through local innovation ecosystems. Juan David specializes in translating complex systemic challenges into actionable opportunities, with particular focus on circular economy transitions, digital transformation, and inclusive governance frameworks. His approach merges human-centered methodologies with strategic foresight to accelerate sustainable development in rapidly evolving contexts. His professional trajectory includes founding an innovation consultancy, advising government ministries on public sector innovation, and developing strategic partnerships across Latin America. As a postgraduate lecturer and thought leader, Juan David regularly contributes to international dialogues on design-driven approaches to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
