Biography

Jukka Kantola is a recognised leader in the global bioeconomy, serving as Founder and CEO of the World BioEconomy Forum and Chair of the World Bioeconomy Association. With over two decades of executive experience across Europe and Asia, he has been a passionate advocate for sustainable biomass valorisation and circular bioeconomy innovations. Under his leadership, the World BioEconomy Forum has become a prominent platform shaping global bioeconomy strategies. Jukka holds a Master of Science from Aalto University and an eMBA from Rutgers University. He is also a co-author of the influential report Financing a Sustainable Global Bioeconomy.
