Biography

I am a private market Investor and have continously been driven by my mission to mobilize private capital for impact investments at scale. Accordingly, I have spent the last 17 years of my career shifting the boundaries of the investable universe for institutional capital, executing private equity impact investments in developed and developing markets and structuring and leading investment vehicles. I am solely active in private markets and specialize in building and investing on behalf of my clients and their investment vehicles in order to address environmental and social needs and to facilitate private institutional investors’ access to the impact investing space as well as executing private equity transactions. Vehicle structures hereby are both blended finance but also non blended vehicles. I structured, invested and managed amongst other Funds the Emerging Market Climate Action Fund and AfricaGrow which are both public private partnerships and blended finance vehicles but also the Allianz Impact Investment Fund which is OECD impact only. In 2025 I did set up my own Capital Formation and Advisory firm named Climate Action Investors and am currently leading the set up of the Hamburg Sustainability Platform on behalf of governments and large scale investors.
