Biography
Neshan Gunasekera is the CEO of the World Future Council. He is an international lawyer, educator and has worked with various systems at multilateral, regional, and community levels, including with the United Nations, the European Union, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, and the Earth Trusteeship Initiative. He has been a long-standing Member of the World Future Council and associated with the WFC since its founding in Hamburg, in May 2007. He is a laureate of the Weeramantry International Justice Award received in 2020 for his contributions to Peace, Sustainable Development, and Governance.
