Biography
Peter Nyanda is a skilled development professional with advanced degrees in International Development and Business Administration, and certification as a business manager. With over 15 years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors in Africa, he specializes in public policy analysis, advanced social research, institutional capacity building, MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning), business development, and computational social sciences (CSS).
Peter’s global experience includes leading projects with prominent organizations like The Johns Hopkins University, Millicom, and the Palladium Group, where he oversaw business solutions development, project management and CSR work. As the Team Lead and Head of Exploration at the UNDP Accelerator Lab in Tanzania, he has led efforts in digital transformation and innovative solutions for sustainable growth, collaborating with international partners to align development strategies with cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and GIS. His strategic leadership in managing complex projects makes him a key figure in driving future development in Tanzania and Africa in general.
