Biography
Ravesh Rajlal has been in the South African public sector since 2001, with 3 years at the Department of Public Enterprises and the last 21 years at National Treasury. His key role is providing Oversight over Schedule 2 or Major public entities which include Transnet, Eskom, Denel, Sasria, amongst others. He holds a National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is currently occupying the role of Acting Deputy Director-General of Assets and Liabilities since February 2025.
