Biography
Dr Riyaz Haider Was born on the 17.04.1961 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. 1990 - 1995 Studied Social Economy at the University of Hamburg, Germany 1996 - 2000 Worked for several projects in Renewable energy solutions in Africa in Collaboration with Swiss Federal Office of Energy. The main focus is on development-related research projects for specific technology in the areas of renewable energies and energy efficiency, complemented by a cross-cutting socio-economic programme 2001 - Leading the Environmental Science Centre at the Augsburg University 2002 - 2005 Research on the topic: Global Cotton Crisis and Sustainable Development: case study: opportunities and limits for conversion from conventional to organic cotton production in Tanzania 2006 - 2025 The CEO and Founder of BioSustain Tanzania Limited: working with more than 18,000 farmers in Sustainable cotton Production with the CMIA Organic and Regenarative standards in Tanzania.
