TET Myanmar
Si Thu Wai is an educator and SDG advocate passionate about equitable education and youth empowerment. He is the founder of TET Myanmar, which has trained thousands of teachers across Myanmar. With a background in Aerospace Engineering and currently pursuing a Master of Education at the University of Melbourne, he brings cross-disciplinary insights to education and policy. He is an alumnus of the YSEALI Academic Fellowship at the University of Connecticut, a Core Group Member and Facilitator at the SEAMEO INNOTECH Youth Summit on Transforming Education in Southeast Asia, and a former member of the YSEALI NEXT Executive Steering Committee. He currently co-chairs the AI, Digital Learning and Transformation thematic area of the SDG4 Youth & Student Network, and leads EduSEA: Empowering Educators in Southeast Asia and a Myanmar-focused education project, both supported by U.S. government partners.
