Sibylle Gabler

Biography

Sibylle Gabler is Member of the Management Board of DIN, the National Standards Body of Germany, and the standardization platform for over 30.000 experts from all stakeholder groups. DIN is a Member of the European Standardization Organization, CEN, as well as ISO, the International Standardization Organization. Sibylle Gabler is responsible for the Division External Relations which includes pre-normative development of strategic topics, i.e. new technologies which benefit from standards in their further development. External Relations also entails engagement with important stakeholder groups. At DIN, she previously held the position of Director Government Relations DIN, developing relations with national, European and international policy makers. Sibylle Gabler holds a Bachelor Degree of Duke University, USA, having had an athletic scholarship, and a Magister Artium of LMU München in Communications. She plays competitive Golf and is part of the Seniors Ladies National Team.
