Biography

Xana Maunze serves as a climate finance specialist supporting the Mozambican Government through the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation, Enabel. She works as an embedded advisor in climate policy with topics spanning carbon markets, carbon border adjustments, decarbonization, corporate sustainability, energy and alignment of economic growth with climate resilience. She has experience in climate diplomacy, international trade and environmental economic policy, having worked with the Swedish and British Governments through Sida and the British High Commission in Mozambique, as well as the UK Department for Business and Trade at the British Embassy in Paris and the GreenBiz Group in France. Xana holds a Master's degree in Sustainability and Green Business from the University of Paris XII in France and a degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the United States of America. She is specialised in corporate sustainability from New York University in the USA and Sustainable Development Goals implementation through the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland.
