Biography

Yuetong Zheng is a Transportation Engineer at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP), with over five years of experience in policy analysis and data-driven research for sustainable transport. She specializes in zero-emission freight corridor planning, electric truck strategy, and charging infrastructure deployment. Her cross-cutting work combines technical modeling with policy design to support public and private sector decision-making. Prior to ITDP, she worked at Tesla and the US-China Business Council on EV industry engagement, and later at the World Resources Institute, where her research on e-bus pricing helped inform the U.S. EPA’s Clean School Bus Grant Program. She also advises multilateral development banks on e-mobility and innovative ways to engage the private sector.
